About CodePath CPC

We are coders who passed the CPC and got tired of watching good people fail it for the wrong reason: they studied harder instead of smarter.

CodePath CPC is an independent, free study resource for the AAPC Certified Professional Coder exam. There is no course to buy and no account to create. We built the thing we wish we had had — a large bank of real, explained questions you can drill in the exact proportions the exam uses.

The CPC is not about knowing every code. It is about finding the right one, fast, under time.

What we believe

The single biggest CPC myth is that you must memorize the code books. You cannot, and you do not need to. The exam is open-book; it tests whether you can navigate the index and guidelines quickly and eliminate wrong answers. That is a skill, and skills are built by doing reps — which is what this site is for.
